As much as I like the idea of open API, and interconnected cloud. I have a hard time to believe this an actual use case.

Most web conference are a one-way presentation. Someone present content to someone else. That's rarely live collaboration on a file. And even if that happens, what's the probably of both participants to be familiar enough with box to have an account available to login and start "collaborating".
If this use case was viable then services like Google Wave, Etherpad would still be alive.

For presentation purpose, especially in the sales cycle I usually like tools like clearslide.com
