Forrester Research Report

WebEx was recently recognized by Forrester Research as the #1 player on their "Forrester Wave: Web Conferencing, Q2 2006 Report." Earning the top spot required high scores for market presence, strategy and product offering.

“WebEx is moving aggressively into integration with core business processes,” writes Claire Schooley, Forrester research analyst and author of the report “It does not see its conferencing product as a standalone application, but rather as one that enhances workers’ productivity and is easily accessible from whatever applications they are in.”

The report continues, “The product provides strong integration at many levels. It supports meeting notification in Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes, launching IM meetings from within Microsoft applications, and integration with both enterprise management systems and user management systems.”

These are all convergent components that set WebEx apart from the competition. Collaboration Prediction for 2006

I should note that the areas where WebEx had perfect scores (5.00) were for connectivity, customer base, product management, financials and product strategy. The report also states that customers who use the WebEx have a seamless integrated web conferencing and audio experience.
